PROPOSAL | DATA COLLECTION | FINAL PROJECT
WEEK 1
In the first day of class, we were introduced to what this module is about and what are the projects to be done. From there, we learned that the theme is following as we have Japan group and Non-Japan group. Since I'm in the Japan group, I choose my teammates which is also in Japan group too. we were going to find groups members of 6 with members in different semesters and courses. I'm grouping with Sheryl, Shin er, Wai fern ( x3 BDCM) and Winnie + Wei Jun (x2 Fashion Design).
The first project is a proposal, in which we need to come up with a 200 word description defining and interpreting the theme relating to the culture of our study trip, in which it is Japan for out group. We also needed ideas of what we intend to do that relate to the theme as well as the aspects of Japanese culture. As a group, we started to have a meeting and going to think about our topic and listing down the aspects of Japanese culture, and see where we can go from there.

In the next few days, we started by individually conducted our own research and brainstormed some ideas. Then, we shared our ideas and findings with each other and compiled them into a set of slides. This acts as our first draft of ideas.
Here is a PDF of the proposal in Google Docs which includes a rough draft of what we came up in our first meeting.
After that, we put all the information into slides as it is more presentable. Here are the PDF of the proposal in Google Slides which includes ideas and information of what we came up from our meeting. We distribute parts by 2 person to do 3 different topics which is the
Final 3 idea (for proposal)

2. Japanese fashion
3. Japanese cuisine - sushi making & history
After discussing and conclude with out teammates, here are the next move we are going to work on is:
1. Sushi as our main topic ( need to do more indept research)
2. Need to come out with 3 ideas to develop sushi
3. After developing ideas, we need to come out with 3 sketches of the idea
