Dr.Hayati was incharge with our UX/UI Specialisation with recorded Online lecture on writing our assignment briefing and Research Dissertation

I’m still struggling to understand the assignment but I will make further clarification with Dr.Hayati and my friend. I will do my best to understand it better and put my effort to achieve a better outcome in my assignment.
Reflection:
In the first week, I was clear about the assignment brief as I had noted down every point that was told by Dr.Hayati during the class. For week 1 assignment, we need to use back five articles we were selected in the previous subject Design Research Methodology. After that we were also assigned to do the Literature Review Matrix and to create draft dissertations too. It was a bit challenging for me as the article was too long and I wasn't able to recall it back. I need to recall all the articles and study back my previous assignment as well. This takes time for me to study back and do more research that provides me more understanding. I'm going to spend another one more day just studying the five articles so that I can learn more about my subjects and find better ways to incorporate them into my next projects and assignments. I know I'm not great at research, but I will put in more time and effort.

I’ve shown my progression of Literature Review Matrix, Draft Dissertation to Dr.Hayati but i’ve still left parts such as Similarities, Difference that i cant able to come up with the Sub-Topic as i have not complete yet. Nut, i did not able to get a complete feedback by Dr.Hayati
After that, I continue with the progress of completing my Literature Review Matrix and I'm very struggling on my Sub-Topic that I'm preparing to slightly change about my working title and to find the topic that relates to my 5 articles. I did extra research that is related to my 5 articles and sub-topics. I’ll try my best to do it well.

I’ve shown my progression of Literature Review Matrix with Sub-Topic (which i’m not sure about it last week), Literature review writing and Draft Dissertation to Dr.Hayati.
Reflection:
This is the third week of class. I finished all my tasks which I hope I can avoid confusion like last week which caused me to be extremely lost. I’ve let Dr.Hayati see all of my progress which included - Literature review matrix ,Sub-topic to be shown, Literature review and my Draft Dissertation. After consultation with Dr.Hayati, I've been really clear on what should i do next.
Firstly, from the General and Specific Feedback given : Things to be change is
Shorten my Sub-Topic by not repeating the same words and summarize it which is too long for a title
Since my tile is more on UX, need to be more specific which focus on my UX topic more than UI (UI, UX(specific) which come first)
Intro overview of review of the 5 article - which my intro sound like Section 1 (Intro should be more focus on my Literature review not about my title

General Feedback: Feedback from Dr.Hayati was to make sure my Literature Matrix is for me to understand well, which I think my matrix can help me understand more and be used in my future writing as well. So far my matrix was okay, but there are more changes on my Sub-Topic which is too long and keeps repeating the same words (baby-boomers). Lastly, is my topic which is more on UX but the Sub-Topic is more related to UI.

This is the fourth week of class. I’ve used time to study the materials that are given in the Google classroom. I actually don't really understand the document given but after spending time on it, I got it. I hope what i did was correct and hope my efforts paid ~

Reflection:
This is the fifth week of class. It was such a bad day as i’m not able to have class due to the lock of my team's account. I've already paid my fees but I didn't expect that my teams were still locked the next day (which is when I wanted to open my team for class). I’ve no choice to continue my parts following the materials that Dr.Hayati has been given. There is lots of confusion but I'll try to do my best and ask for consultation in the next session of class.

Reflection:
This is the sixth week of class. As I missed 2 weeks of consultation, I actually feel anxiety and stress, which makes me worried there are lots of mistakes I've made in the assignments. After that, I knew I needed to adjust myself by not thinking so negatively, as I remember Dr.Hayati said it's not scary to make mistakes, the most important is to learn during the process. This reminds me to keep moving on with a positive mindset with my assignment. I will consult my assignment with Dr.Hayati next week for my Section 2,3,4 and Draft dissertation

Reflection:
This is the week 7 of class. Today's consultation session was around 40+ minutes as it was a long session because I've missed 2 classes due to fees and team problems. That caused me lots of confusion on my part from section 1 till section 5 and I consulted and asked Dr.Hayati, Dr.Hayati explained it very clearly and patiently to me that I really appreciated and felt grateful… yet it was a fruitful session too. By the way, i’m still worried I will did it wrongly but i’ll try my best to done it all correctly with my effort and try to done it on time since research need times to collect data and studies to get a more understanding on what i’m doing and better implement it in my draft dissertation.

This week is week 9 of classes, So far the direction of how i do my visual design of my magazine was clear. Reference was ready and every part such as, magazine design, layout, wireframe, colors and icon were provided in slides. Reflection:
This week is week 11 of classes. There is still a lot of progress since I started it late. So far everything in my previous draft dissertation was okay and I made new changes in my final dissertation. The design will be consulted next week. There are few progressions to show, such as there is much to think on the design,typo, font and color scheme in the overall consideration which I'll take up the challenge to do my best to come up with a nice and good Visual design publication which is my first time doing it.

This week is week 12 of classes. There is still a lot of progression as i was too slow which i consider too much on the design and how to arrange using In-design as i didn't used it too long that i need to see tutorial how to do it which cause me a lot of times and effort but i can learn it again was good. Effort was put in in my Visual Design. I hope everything was good and to finish all of it in time. For the final project which is the Journal Article Publication i need to see back the recording again and will continue after i done my Visual design publication.

This week is week 13 of classes. Everything was still in process because I did not finish it due to a variety of difficulties and problems, including myself (health) and the assignments, which are all nearing completion. I'll do my best to listen back to the recording and catch up on all of the progressions and study the materials given in Google Classroom.

Reflection:
This week is week 14 of classes. Last week of classes but I still have a lot to catch up on since I'm afraid about being late for submission since I found out previously that certain sections were incorrect, and I need more time to make the corrections considering that I want to put additional effort into it so I can score it well in my results and also gain knowledge for myself. Everything was in progress, almost complete. I hope that I won't disappoint Dr. Hayati for her dedication in helping me throughout the semester through consultation and being sympathetic with a slow learner like me in class. Thank you Dr. Hayati has educated me so much, which has been a fruitful session every time you consult and share with me, and this has influenced me to be in love with the subject.
General Feedback:
I did not consult as I'm still working on my parts that i’ve not done yet, everything was clear enough that I figured it out myself and hoped everything was good.
- END OF SEMESTER -
My experience is i done my best to do all of the assignment with include dissertation, literature review, visual publication design and journal article on this module subject. The researcher was being fruitful by doing this topic/title as I learned and dive into much more deeper about Baby-boomers topics, what they faced, and what to improve to help them as I feel that it was worth my effort. I also thinks that my overall grammar and writing skills are terrible and could use some improvements in the future which I
learn and have Hugh improvement since I keep learning articles, website and to research more to get a better implement in the dissertation and etc.Throughout all of the 14 weeks, I felt amazingly happy with the outcome and how far I've has made. I saw a growth in both my writing and analytical abilities during the whole assignment which when deeper and more into it deeper. Overall, the process is very challenging comparing with SEM 1 course, but the knowledge and information gained end up making it all worthwhile.
